Should class X board exams be made optional?

tenth board exams are a horror for most of the students studying in tenth standard. but in my thinking that by making tenth board exams as optional will not be a solution to the problem. this type of step can make students some relief only pshychologically but not in a reality.the indian students are known as the masterminds of the world in every stream but if this type of step is taken it will ruin the whole creativity of india. the students will have some relief but it will create an another big problem for them in future.presently the time is of competition and struggle for students to get an appropriate admission in good streams and institutes for their bright carrier. the tenth standard board exams are not only some exams but they have some another important meaning also, they are a step towards the struggle and competitive path of the lives of the students and to prepare the students for the future competition, he/she has to face in upper classes to make their future bright. if this type of step is taken then the students will become some lazy as well as they will face more troubles pshycologically as well as in reality when they will have to face tough competitions in upper classes. i think that the board exams should be make some more competitive so that the students should easily face the pressures in the future. yeah this step can also be useful and can be applied but with some ammendments, like the students should opt those subjects in which line they want to do their higher studies and they have to give the board exams only of those stream subjects. like an example if a student want to take medical stream subjects than he should not give the board exams of subjects like social science etc. which is of no mean for their stream.
majority of effects of
this step will be negative and can make huge losses
for the future india and its economy. i am fully
against this type of decision. if the students will
get this type of facility then they will not be able
to run along the speed of the new world era in which
one who deserves something has to compete with others
to get that. this type of step can ruin the sharp
minds of the students and will minimises the level of
studies and competition in india.today is the time of
hard and smart work so that one student can compete
with others and can emerge as a winner but this type
of facility will make them some freemind which will
harm the future of india. these days one has to
undergo entrance exams at every level of his/her life
after x standard, whether to clear an professional
entrance exam or to take admission in a good institute
or to get any type of job, and sucess can only be
achieved with hard work, but with this type of step
the students will not be able to defend themselves
from the competition they has to face in there
future.recent example is the IIT example in which one
has to score at least first class in 12 standard to
get sit in there entrance.but with this type of bold
decision applied the students will not be able to do
more hard work required these days. this is the time
to make students to do more and more hard work and
more competitive which will be ruin if this type of
step is taken. yes there is some needs to make some
ammendments in x board exams likely that some
objective type of exams should be there so that the
students should be prepared foe there future exams as
mostly the entrance exams after x standard are taken
with objective questions, the most recent example is
the IIT'S decision to take only objective exam in the
next session entrance.
